Terms and Conditions

CONDITIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF RENTER

​

  1. “Wrap time” refers to the agreed upon time the booking party must have the event space returned to its original condition and ready to leave the space. The start time/end time of your space rental includes your setup and break down. ALL GUEST MUST BE OUT OF FACILITY AT THE END OF RENTAL TIME.​​

    1. ​Trash/clean up must be completed by end or rental time and is completed by the renter. The Love and Laugh Staff is not required or obligated to aid in event clean-up/breakdown.

  2. Rental rates will be highlighted and acknowledged in separate documents (invoices) and may be calculated hourly, or by whole days and/or a combination of the above. Click here to see Rental Pricing.​

  3. A Security deposit in the amount of $250.00 must be received to reserve your event date(s) and time(s). Paying your security deposit DOES NOT guarantee your desired event date/time. Love and Laugh Event Venue shall return back the security deposit minus any amounts deemed necessary to repair damages inflicted upon the venue by the Renter and/or Renter’s associates, guests, invitees, contractors, and all other persons whatsoever who enter the venue during the rental period, whether or not such persons did so with Renter’s knowledge or consent. Please allow up to 5 business days after your event perform exit walkthrough and initiate refundable deposit. Refundable deposit could take up to 14 business days for funds to be returned to your financial institution. If the event is CANCELED due to Renter & not Love and Laugh Event Venue, the Security Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERABLE.

    1. ​If the Rental Date is CANCELED, the Security Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE/NON TRANSFERABLE​.

    2. If in any event Love and Laugh Event Venue needs to cancel your rental, you will be refunded.

  4. A Valid ID/Driver's License signed reservation agreement/contract, security deposit & valid credit/debit card must be received to reserve your date(s) and time(s).

  5. Security Deposit will be refundable up to (5) Business Days or sooner after final walk-through of facility, however it will NOT be refundable if the space is not returned the same way as it was given.

  6. The balance of your space rental fee is due:​

    1. IMMEDIATELY if your Event is booked within 30 days - NO EXCPETIONS!

    2. 30 days prior to your event if your event is booked outside of 4 weeks - NO EXCPETIONS!

    3. If final payment is unpaid by 5 pm on the 14th day prior to your event, your security deposit will be forfeited.

    4. FINAL INVOICES WILL BE SENT VIA EMAIL and/or TEXT. 

  7. ​In the event that you cancel your rental date, there will be no refund or transfers, as your agreement to rent Love and Laugh Event Venue on this date may cause the loss of additional bookings or business.​

LIABILITY

 

  1. Renter agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC, its landlord, building owners, officers, contractors, and agents harmless of and from any liabilities, costs, penalties, or expenses arising out of and/or resulting from the rental and use of the premises, including but not limited to, the personal guarantee of provision, and service.

  2. Renters agree to use Facility at his/her own risk. The Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC is not responsible for any personal property inside/outside of the premises while visiting the facility.

  3. In the event Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC its landlord, building owners, officers, Contractors and/or agents, are required to file any action in court in order to enforce any provisions of this agreement, renter agrees to pay Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC, its officers, landlord,  building owners, contractors and/or agents, all reasonable attorney fees, court fees, and costs of suit incurred by Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC including all collection expenses and interest due.

  4. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC, be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the service.

    To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC assumes no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to or use of our service; and (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.

OUTSIDE FOOD/CATERING

​

  1. As we want you to enjoy your event, you may bring outside food/drinks inside the facility, however Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC is not responsible for any food and or allergies that may occur with you or your guest from any outside vendors and or brought in food. We do recommend that all professional catering events be done with a licensed professional caterer and or a company who is familiar with the state regulations, policies, and procedures and who's insured.

  2. Kitchenette Policy — The kitchenette area is a small space that's provided for cleaning usage, and hand washing. There is a microwave, ice maker and mini fridge available. Please note Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC does not provide dishes, glassware, pots, pans, knives, or utensils. The kitchenette space will be provided in a clean condition, and the space should be returned to a clean condition immediately following your event.

  3. Renters and or Caterers must remove all trash, composting and recyclables from the site. All trash, including sorted recyclables must be collected, properly bagged, and removed by the caterer or party renting the space. The dumpster is located outside on the east side of the building. ANY TRASH LEFT BEHIND WILL FORFEIT DEPOSIT!

 

REFUND POLICY

  • Refund requested 30 days or more from event date will receive refund of any monies given minus 20% admin & processing fees.

  • Refund requested 15 to 29 days or more from event date will receive refund of any monies given minus 40% admin& processing fees.

  • Refund requested 14 days or less from event date will receive no refund of any monies given.

The renter is solely responsible for any damages to any furniture and or fixtures caused by them and or their guests.
 

DECORATION

​

Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC wants to make every event here a special and welcome experience. You may bring in your own decor to add on to your event.  PLEASE, no nails, screws, thumb tacks, scotch tape, staples or penetrating items are to be used on our walls or floors. Glitter or foil (non-paper) confetti is not allowed on site. Smoke and or Bubble machines are prohibited. ANY SUCH WILL FORFEIT DEPOSIT. Only low tack tape or painters' tape is allowed on our floors and walls. Any damage will be your responsibility. Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC Does offer in house décor set from linens to table setting, and or balloons for an additional fee. Tables and chairs are provided with rentals if needed. We will have these available ahead of time with your set up style.

Please understand if your set up is provided by us, it will be set up based off the number of guests you tell us.

CONDUCT

​

There is absolutely no drug use or smoking of any kind tolerated on premises or within 50 feet of the building including loitering or congregating outside on the sidewalk at any time during the facility rental. Disparaging remarks or any type of physical violence will not be tolerated and will be cause for immediate expulsion. Renter and guests shall use the premises in a considerate manner at all times. During underage events, such as personal gatherings etc., underage individuals do not have in and out privileges. Conduct deemed disorderly at the sole discretion of Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC team members shall be grounds for immediate expulsion from the premises and conclusion of the rental period. Refunds will not be available. During facility usage, using or selling alcohol, and or drugs is prohibited. All legal consequences and ramifications are the sole responsibility of the rental party.

 

MUSIC / NOISE / DJ

​

Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC want all of our guests to have fun, we have provided an in-house Bluetooth speaker for you to stream your favorite music using your own device. We do ask if you have a DJ that they keep the music at a respectful level.  Please be aware the premise is located within other businesses along with residential neighborhoods and therefore neighborhood noise regulations do apply. In the event the renter’s event creates a disturbance due to high noise volume, Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC team members have full authority to ask the renter to turn the music/noise down and/or off. If repeated disturbances are created, at Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC discretion, the renter may be expelled from the premises, or the offending noise will be ended. In the event of disturbances to the point of expulsion, no portion of the event costs will be refunded to the renter. The renter will also be solely responsible for any fines or fees associated with noise ordinances.

CHILDREN

​

Any children attending any events will need to be with their parent(s)/OR a adult at all times! Due to liability reasons, we cannot have kids wandering around the facility, nor can our In House Host monitor them. Per state Law, no one under the age of 21 can be in the same area as the bartender/Liquor area. Please plan accordingly.

CANCELLATION

​

All refund requests must be sent via email to info@loveandlaughvenue.com. Please include event date, time and that you would like to cancel your booking. 

  • Refund requested 30 days or more from event date will receive refund of any monies given minus 25% admin fee.

  • Refund requested 15 to 29 days or more from event date will receive refund of any monies given minus 50% admin fee.o    

  • Refund requested 14 days or less from event date will receive no refund of any monies given.

N-TRANSFERABLE

 

LOADING / UNLOADING

​

In preparation for your event, please load/unload through our main door for all of your setup and break down needs. Setup must occur at the start of your rental and must be broken down prior to your rental end time. There is no altering and or moving of any fixtures and or furniture within the rental facility.

​

CLEANING / TRASH / DAMAGES/EXITING VENUE

​

Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC will be in a clean condition prior to your event. You are required to return the space to the same clean condition in which it was found by your wrap time. Please dispose ALL of the trash in the dumpster located outside on the east wing of the building. Any trash left behind will forfeit the security deposit. Any solid linens and or damages to the facility, equipment, furniture, and or fixings will result in Deposit being forfeited.

  • Dragging of any tables or chairs across the floors could result in a loss of refundable deposit or additional charges.

  • Please to stack/fold all tables/chairs before exiting could result in a loss of refundable deposit or additional charges. Remove all tablecloths/chair covers and place them in separate piles on the venue floor (if applicable).

  • Failure to remove all trash from the venue, turn off all lights and central air before exiting the venue could result in a loss of refundable deposit or additional charges.

PROMOTION EMAILS AND CONTENT

​

You agree to receive from time-to-time promotional messages and materials from us, by mail, email or any other contact form you may provide us with (including your phone number for calls or text messages). If you don't want to receive such promotional materials or notices – please just notify us at any time at info@loveandlaughvenue.com.

Video/Photo Disclaimer

​

Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC has the right to capture both video and photo of any event booked to be used for marketing, advertisement and any lawful purpose. I hereby irrevocably authorize Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC the ability to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos/videos for any lawful purpose. In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of these photos/videos.

I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge the Love and Laugh Event Venue from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.

CITY, COUNTY, STATE, AND FEDERAL LAWS | LIQUOR POLICY

​

Renter agrees to comply with all applicable City, County, State, and Federal laws and shall conduct no illegal acts on the premises. This is a drug free and non-smoking facility at all times, and there are no exceptions. Renter shall not sell alcohol on premises at any time. Renter may not serve alcohol to minors on the premises at any time. Renter agrees, for everyone’s safety, to ensure alcoholic beverages (wine, Champagne only) are consumed in a responsible manner. All other liquor outside Wine/ Champagne will require you to have a licensed Bartender. Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC reserves the right, in its exclusive discretion, to expel anyone who, in its judgment, is intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who shall, in any manner, do or participate in any act jeopardizing the rights, use permit, or insurability of Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC or the safety of its staff, guests, or building contents.

Professional Bartending Services is available for an additional Fee. Booking Fee $250 (Cash Bar)

ENTRY AND EXIT

​

Renter agrees that Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC staff may enter and exit the premises during the course of the event. A representative of Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC team member may be available during your entire event and may be checking periodically with the responsible parties to insure everything is operating correctly via in person and or phone communication.

CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION AGREEMENT (Pay by phone, In person, Online, etc.)

​

In the event that we have to charge your credit card via phone, in person, online, invoices etc. you authorize Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC to make a debit(s) to your credit card/debit card.

You give
Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC permission to debit your account as indicated via phone, email, in person, etc. This permission DOES NOT provide authorization for any unrelated debits or credits to your account. ALL PROVIDED CREDIT CARD INFORMATION WILL REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL AND SECURED AND WILL NOT BE SHARED WITH ANYONE.

I authorize
Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC to immediately charge my credit account a date-hold security deposit of $150.00 + IF ANY additional deposits that may be required for the costs associated with my event rental fee, and ALL FINAL BALANCES related to me event.

I acknowledge date-hold security deposits are non-refundable/non-transferable in the event that I cancel my rental.

I acknowledge
Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC will be executing a withdrawal of 100% of the costs associated with the venue booking on my behalf.

YOU MAY USE ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT IN THE FORM OF CASH TO PAY SECURITY DEPOSIT AND BALANCES. DUE DATE TERMS+CONDITIONS STILL APPLIES.

I agree and authorize Love and Laugh Event Venue LLC to charge the credit card indicated in this authorization form according to the terms outlined above. This payment authorization is for the event described above. I certify that I am an authorized user of this credit card and that I will not dispute the payment with my credit card company; so long as the transaction corresponds to the terms indicated in this form.

FINAL BALANCE

​

The Remainder/FINAL Balance is DUE IMMEDIATELY if your Event is booked within 30 days. If your event is booked outside of the 30-day window, your payment is due 30 days prior to your event. An invoice will be sent with the due date and will need to be paid by the end of business day at 5pm on the due date. If balance isn’t paid by the due date/time your event date will be CANCELED and deposit will be FORFEITED.

 Love and Laugh Event Venue reserves the right to cancel an event if the facilities are rendered unsuitable for the event due to fire or other calamity, or any other occurrences beyond the control of Love and Laugh Event Venue.

 

In the event of such cancellation, the Event Host (Renter) will not be liable for payment of any fees for cancelled programs, nor will Love and Laugh Event Venue have any further liability or obligations with regard to the cancelled events. Should such action prove necessary, Love and Laugh Event Venue guarantees that it will provide suitable time for re-scheduling
